Moxie's Mission was developed to help provide education and knowledge of service dogs, therapy dogs and emotional support dogs. As well as provide assistance for other in need of a service dog.
Katie is a school social worker, who was diagnosed with a condition called Ehlers Danlos. This is a disease in which a group of disorders affect the connective tissues supporting the skin, bones, blood vessels, and many other organs and tissues.
Moxie is a miniature golden doodle, whom because Katie's service animal in April of 2019. When Moxie isn't providing service for Katie she is a fun loving, rambunctious normal doodle! She loves playing fetch, going for long walks and meeting new people!
Moxie's tasks require her to retrieve items, pick items up, opening and closing doors among many other amazing tasks. Moxie is the perfect example of what a service pup can do! And the Moxie Team strives to show this to the world!
But that's not their only mission. Moxie's Mission is based on helping other's in need a service animal find the ability and funds to receive the proper service animal for their needs.
